How it started
At Q&R Travel, LLC, our journey began with an invitation from a close family friend in 2013. We were invited to join their annual cruise, which was a completely new experience for us. With no idea where to start, we turned to their trusted Travel Advisor. Her expertise guided us through the booking process, and we loved every moment of that cruise.
Inspired by that positive experience, we reached out to the same Travel Advisor the following year for a trip to Walt Disney World. As first-timers, we were excited but unfamiliar with the details of planning such a big vacation. We booked everything early and made monthly payments, but as the trip approached, communication with our Travel Advisor went silent. Our family’s dream vacation fell apart, leaving us heartbroken.
That experience was a tough lesson, but it didn’t discourage us from using Travel Advisors. Instead, it made us more informed customers. We kept exploring, learning, and finding trustworthy advisors. In 2015, we returned to cruising with our family friend, this time with the excellent support of a Personal Vacation Planner from Carnival. Her service was impeccable, and she became our go-to for several cruises.
By 2020, we were all set to sail on Carnival’s Mardi Gras Inaugural cruise, but due to a delivery delay and the pandemic, it was postponed until August 2021. It was on this very cruise that we met a mentor who changed our lives, introducing us how to make others travel dreams come true.
In September 2021, Q&R Travel, LLC was born. Our mission is simple: to provide personalized, stress-free travel planning so that your journey, whether it’s your first cruise or your dream destination, is unforgettable. We’ve been where you are—excited, nervous, and sometimes unsure—and we’re here to make sure your experience is everything you hope for and more.
How it's going
Starting a business is always a leap of faith, but at Q&R Travel, LLC, we’ve been incredibly fortunate to have the unwavering support of family and friends. They entrusted us with planning their vacations, and with every trip, we aimed to provide top-notch service. Their satisfaction led to referrals, allowing us to expand our network to friends and extended family.
We’ve had the pleasure of booking numerous cruises with trusted partners. We love adding value by ensuring our clients are fully prepared for their cruising adventures. A special highlight for us was hosting our first group cruise aboard the Norwegian Prima—a milestone we’re forever grateful for, thanks to the incredible group who sailed with us.
Beyond cruising, we’ve also planned trips to exciting destinations such as Las Vegas, the Caribbean, Belize, Mexico, Greece, Dubai, Spain, Ireland, and Japan. For international trips, we highly recommend working with a Travel Advisor to help you navigate travel requirements and make sure your journey is seamless.
Our expertise also extends to family fun at Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, and Sea World. Whether it’s a dream cruise or a magical theme park vacation, we’ve got you covered.
Has everything been perfect? No. Have we made mistakes? Yes. But with each challenge, we’ve learned, adapted, and grown. In 2024, we became Certified Cruise Counselors with CLIA (Cruise Line International Association), a testament to our commitment to ongoing learning and training with our trusted partners. Our goal is to ensure we’re always equipped to answer your questions and make your travel experience as smooth as possible.
